Victorian (Australia) Department of Treasury and Finance

RAI's [through Schneider (Australia) Consulting Pty.] involvement with the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance (“DTF”) commenced in 2000 by being hired to lead the re-design of the Department’s Budget and Financial Management Division.

RAI worked with the Department to improve the annual preparation & publication of Victoria’s State Budget.  This work required multiple years of ongoing engagement with Ministers and management leading to significant changes in the Department’s internal governance arrangements, work processes, and engagement processes with other Government Departments.  With RAI assistance the evaluation and planning activities were progressively modified and embedded, resulting in generally recognized continually improving efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
